ROOF TRUSSES
At Harman Timber Protruss we can design and manufacture a fully engineered roofing solution for almost any project.
From the simplest house plan to the most complex structure, our team has the experience and design flexibility to meet your requirements.
Once we have designed your roof, utilising industry-leading Mitek technology, the trusses are then constructed from stress-graded timber and Gang-Nail connector plates, using computer accurate machinery.
This method is guaranteed to produce top quality trusses that meet or exceed all the applicable Australian standards.
Pre-fabricated roof trusses are light, offer guaranteed strength and are quick and easy to install, saving you time and keeping labour costs down.
WALL FRAMES
Prefabricated wall panels provide an excellent alternative to traditional stick framing. Wall panels improve efficiency, reduce waste and increase structural integrity. They are easy to install and can be engineered for a variety of wall applications and heights.
Wall panels reduce costly material overruns by eliminating material estimates and variances created using other framing techniques. Harman Timber Protruss manufactures wall panels in a controlled environment to ensure the highest quality on every wall.
Our panels can be quickly erected on site together with our pre-fabricated trusses to form the roof, meaning that the structure of the building can be created in a matter of days.
POSI-STRUT FLOOR TRUSSES
At Harman Timber ProTruss we manufacture and stock the PosiStrut® Floor Strut System, designed by MiTek Industries.
The PosiStrut® range of products are parallel chord trusses using timber chords “on flat” and the unique PosiStrut® metal webs.
PosiTruss is a made to order parallel chorded truss commonly used as long span floor joists.
They provide an economical and high quality floor structure which is easily assembled and provides excellent access for plumbing, electrical services and air conditioning ducts. It may also be used for long span rafters or purlins to carry tile or steel deck roofing.
As PosiTrusses are designed and manufactured to order for specific projects, they can incorporate internal beams and special support conditions.
PosiJoist and PosiPlus trusses incorporate special trimmable ends and are available ex stock. They are designed specifically for use as floor joists in domestic type structures and are available in set lengths and depths and may be custom trimmed to size on site.
